I have always loved this piece of public art. I remember it from my childhood when my family would drive in from our small town to attend the theater.
It's sort of Japanese Zen meets Deconstruction. I have no idea what the artists intent is.

The red parts look disturbingly anatomical, like giant blood vessels. But I like it overall.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had it all figured out until I really looked hard at it. Seemed like a profile of a brain, but now its more an exagerated cross section from an anatomy book. Cool colors and textures.
