EDMONTON DAILY PHOTO

Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"

Please enjoy my perspective of one of of the fastest growing urban areas this side of China.

A Fair in the Rain is Just Sad Personified

Why does McArthur's Park come to mind. See if you can spot the cake. (there isn't on so please don't really try)
We were Lucky. The rain started just after our afternoon of fun on the midway.

Fairs, rides, clowns...things like guess your weight and hit the bell were things that used to fascinate me when I was a youngster. That and the Merry Go Round. In those days. World War II. I could ride the Merry Go Round for ten cents.
