EDMONTON DAILY PHOTO

Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"

Please enjoy my perspective of one of of the fastest growing urban areas this side of China.

Selecting the photos I will post of the parade has been agonizing. The colour, life and energy of this event made for great photo ops, and the best part was it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

This event was a photo no brainer

I can imagine. :)

But I'm glad for me because I'm thoroughly enjoying myself! Parades in Manila are never this extravagantly wonderful. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I don't know what the idiom "shooting fish in a barrel" means. But your choice of pictures for this post is just perfect - they reflect the joy, life, and energy radiating from this festivity ...!
