Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"
There is something so utterly fantastic about the way moving water photographs.
In response to one of the comments bellow I want to post a link to another photo. Take a look as it is what we have created as a replacement to lasting infrastructure.
The fountain has certainly become a thing of the past as we gravitate towards the personal water bottle. When we were kids, nobody carried water in a bottle. Thats what taps and fountains were for!. Love the picture, yes, I agree, water is a magical element is still form!
I agree entirely, we seem to have gone backwards when the public water fountains started disappearing. I love how water photographs too, nice work on this one!
