EDMONTON DAILY PHOTO

Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"

Please enjoy my perspective of one of of the fastest growing urban areas this side of China.

The Old Brewery

Built in 1913, the brewery was in operation until 2007. When, after the workers went on strike, it was closed. The modern structures have all been demolished leaving only the protected heritage buildings. Sorry about the chain link fence... I tried to break in but I couldn't. Shhhhh you didn't hear that from me!

It looks quite old, indeed... Quite sad to see something so old going down. I guess there is no other way, though.
