EDMONTON DAILY PHOTO

Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"

Please enjoy my perspective of one of of the fastest growing urban areas this side of China.

This is for the Birds

I hate Pigeons, but I love the way this guy pops against the black girders of the High Level Bridge.

Mark, What a perch! I love the blue, black, and gray and the wonderful angle.
Happy May Day!

PS- Oh no, now I have Bruce Cockburn in my head singing a line from a very old song (Don't Have to Tell You Why), "Don't want to live on no sidewalk, underneath no pigeon's perch." -K.

That is a nice photo. I hope you dodged any ammo he had brewing above you.
