EDMONTON DAILY PHOTO

Edmonton is one of the largest northern urban centers in the world. Located in Canada, Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta. The city has a strong history as a trade center, and it served as the last major stop for the Klondikers during the Gold Rush. This is why we Edmontonions call our city "The Gateway to the North"

Please enjoy my perspective of one of of the fastest growing urban areas this side of China.

Winters Last Kick at the Can

If you check last weekends post, you will see that we reached a high of 21 degrees. WELL....... this weekend we are not so lucky. (sigh)

Edmonton has been lucky, most of the province has gotten much more snow.

This is chez moi (my house)

Hi There from Maple Ridge BC.
We had a dusting this weekend too. I was in Edmonton last week, came home Thursday. I saw this housing development. The round windows made it stand out, is this your home? Looks cool in the snow.
I love your header photo of Muttart Conservatory. I would like to spend more time in Edmonton, the down town has so many interesting old buildings. I got some shots of Muttart in passing.Got a good shot of the Masonic Hall stained windows. It was right across from our hotel.Nice blog, Ill be back often.

This is where I live ;-)

They were built in 1922 by the railroad.

Later they were updated in the late 70's early 80's. There are two sets of them. In the other set someone once ran the hub for an escort buisness out of them. The large Phone network board is still in the unit.
